So Many Things Are Left Unsaid

Kesepuluh surat pendek ini ditujukan untuk sepuluh orang yang kukenal. Kalau kamu merasa salah satunya ditujukan untukmu, aku harap perasaanmu benar. Kalau kamu tidak merasa salah satunya ditujukan untukmu, tidak apa-apa, karena kalau aku benar-benar ingin kamu tahu, aku pasti sudah mengatakannya langsung padamu.

1. You're one of my best friends. Even though there were much misunderstanding and small tensions throughout our relationship, I love you very much and I honestly pray for your happiness. You deserve it. I know you seem to be always happy in the outside but I know deep down you have lots of concerns and sadness and disappointment. I truly wish that you can find someone who loves you for who you are, because you are an awesomely sincere person.

2. A long time ago, we used to be friends. But people change, and I guess so did we. You are one chain that is lost from our circle. I don't know where you are now, and we haven't talked for so long, and your life must've changed so much since we last spoke. I hope that you still have a wonderful life and that one day we can somehow bring the days where there were just the five of us.

3. You are someone I met from the twist of fate. We were never close, but a weird coincidence made us meet each other in the most awkward situation. Eventually things got even weirder, more coincidences, and we, who used to be strangers, suddenly became close because of the things we both had to go through. We suddenly started helping each other and understood one another better. We're still no best friends, but I'm really thankful to have known you anyway. You're unique, and in so many ways very similar yet very different from me in our little complex world. I also knew a lot of stuff that was really useful for me from you. You're a friend and a family.

4. When we first met, I was doubtful I was going to like you. I even sort of hated you from the first impression. Things were weird between us but who knew that eventually we'll become this close? We're a family now, and I care about you so much. Thank you for not giving up on me. There are things about you that make me look up to you.

5. I seriously think we could be perfect for each other. Even though we both once belonged to someone else. You're my type, and I think I'm your type too, but clearly you never have the same feeling as mine. That's okay, this relationship is very questionable anyway. There are so many flaws in it. And obviously you still can't forget her. Maybe one day we could try it, but until you want to do it, I won't keep my hopes high. Until that day, I'll stay as one of your best friends.

6. You are an awesome girl and I look up to you, not just because of your age but also because the way you think. I think we have many things in common and I would very much like to be your best friend. I feel that you're an ideal candidate for my new best friend. But hey, let's just see how things go between us. You know how hard it is for me to open up to people.

8. You are also one of my best friends. I know that sometimes receiving our help makes you feel uncomfortable, but know that it's what best friends are for.
